KELSO, Mo. -- Olivia Mary Glueck, 102, of Kelso died Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Cape Girardeau Residential Care Center.
She was born Oct. 17, 1898, at Kelso, daughter of Jacob and Agatha Scherer Blattel. She and John Charles Glueck were married Oct. 24, 1922, at Kelso. He died June 12, 1961.
Glueck was a cook at St. Augustine Catholic School 25 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include five grandchildren, Norma Welch, Verna Eaker, Larry Glueck and Marilyn Lappe, all of Cape Girardeau, Jim Glueck of San Antonio, Texas; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
