OLIVIA C. SCHAEFER

CHAFFEE -- Olivia Clara Schaefer, 76, of Chaffee, died Monday, Dec. 6, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Aug. 26, 1917, at New Hamburg, daughter of David Philip and Clara Klipfel Westrich. She and Zeno "Sam" Schaefer were married July 20, 1937. He died March 4, 1980.

Schaefer was a retired cook, and had worked at Mable's Cafe. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Daughters of St. Ambrose.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Schaefer of Amory, Miss., David and Gary Schaefer of Sikeston; a daughter, Elizabeth Lewis of Torrance, Calif.; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 6:30.
