ORAN -- Oliver Scott McMillan, 89, of Oran, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1993 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 8, 1904 at Oark, Ark., son of William Davis and Clarcie Nelson McMillan.
He was a retired farmer and a life member of 61 years of the Oark Masonic Lodge 272.
On Oct. 28, 1928 at Catalpa, Ark., he married Ruth Adkins. She survives.
He is also survived by five sons, Denver McMillan, Bloomfield, Bill McMillan, Scott City, M.D. McMillan, Kansas City, Charles McMillan, Puxico, Michael McMillan, Sikeston; five daughters, Ann Boze, Bloomfield, Chris Wondel, Oran, Pat Terry, Poplar Bluff, Mary Yount, Farmington, Gerry Lasater, Ashland; one sister, Vesta Holt, Adair, Okla.; 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
One son, six brothers, and four sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call today after 5 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. by the Morley Masonic Lodge 184.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Jack Bishop officiating.
Burial will follow at New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
