PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Olive D. Brown, 84, of Perryville died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born Nov. 3, 1920, in Evans, W.Va., daughter of Okey E. and Ethel Sayre Donohew. She and Charles E. Brown were married March 14, 1939, in Winchester, W.Va. He preceded her in death...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Olive D. Brown, 84, of Perryville died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 3, 1920, in Evans, W.Va., daughter of Okey E. and Ethel Sayre Donohew. She and Charles E. Brown were married March 14, 1939, in Winchester, W.Va. He preceded her in death.

Brown was a member of Freewill Baptist Church at Viburnum, Mo., Ironton Chapter Order of Eastern Star, and served as deputy grand matron of the 49th District Grand Chapter of Missouri in 1988-89.

Survivors include three daughters, Jacqueline Crice of Perryville, Judy Schmidt of Centralia, Mo., Dorothy Brodmerkel of Hookstown, Pa.; a sister, Rhea Peters of Jeffersonville, Ind.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 5 to 9 p.m. today. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7. Visitation will also be held Sunday at Welch Funeral Home in Hookstown.

The funeral will be Monday at Welch Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery in Hookstown.
