PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Olga N. Vogel, 81, of Perryville died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born Jan. 2, 1927, at Oak Ridge, daughter of Paul E. and Clara R. Bingenheimer Richter. She and Milton A. "Spitz" Vogel were married Nov. 24, 1946.
Vogel retired as a receptionist for Dr. Gonzales and was a well-known seamstress. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki (Jim) Frank of Cape Girardeau, Kristi (Phil) Norman of Perryville; a sister, Ellein Haertling of Perryville; three grandchildren, Tori Frank of St. Louis, John Frank and Andrew Norman of Perryville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul E. Richter Jr.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial preference to Immanuel Lutheran School Debt Fund, Hanover Lutheran Church Building Fund or Southeast Missouri Hospital Foundation.
