Olga M. Ludwig, 91, of Jackson passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011, at the Monticello House in Jackson.

She was born March 1, 1920, near Fruitland, daughter of Adam and Cora Schoenebeck Henry. She and Adolph Gustav Charles Ludwig were married on May 30, 1942. He passed away on Aug. 2, 2004.

Olga was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, where she played the organ for many years. She was a volunteer at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau and was presented a pin for over 5,500 hours of service. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Jackson.

Loving survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Mary Ludwig; a daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Mike Redman; a sister-in-law, Luella Ludwig, all of Jackson; three grandchildren, Chad Ludwig of Jackson, Tonya (Paul) Arnold of Delhi, La., and Michael Cook of St. Louis; and two great-grandchildren, Skyler and Devon Shelley of Delhi.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Henry; two sisters, Betty (Victor) Puchbauer and Anita (Edvene) Smith; and a brother-in-law, Alvin Ludwig.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Schaffner officiating.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may be made to the St. John's United Church of Christ in Fruitland.
