JACKSON -- Olga J. Kahnert, 100, of Jackson died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 1, 1898, at Pocahontas, daughter of Henry William and Christiana Johana Ruehling Putz. She and Leo H. Kahnert were married June 24, 1917. He died Nov. 18, 1972.
Kahnert co-owned and operated Kahnert Grocery at Jackson a number of years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aide.
Survivors include a brother, Dillman Putz of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, a granddaughter, and a great-grandson.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from noon to service time.
