Olga H. Kasten, 87, formerly of 227 Camellia, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1995, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Aug. 20, 1907, at Burfordville, daughter of Herman C. and Mollie Siebert Sperling. She and Edward Ernest Kasten were married July 22, 1928, in Cape Girardeau. He died April 14, 1992.
Kasten had worked at International Shoe Co. in Jackson, and then was a cook at Trinity Lutheran School 19 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, its Senior Ladies Aid and Church Quilters.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Kasten of Belleville, Ill., Jerry Kasten of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Anna Hickam of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Elda Kasten and Selma Sperling of Jackson; 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Church, with the Rev. David Dissen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
