JACKSON, Mo. -- Ola Bernice Hastings, 86, of Jackson died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Monticello House.
She was born April 27, 1915, in Jerusalem, Ark., daughter of Lee Andrew and Emma Mae Taylor Roper.
Hastings lived at Sikeston, Mo., many years, moving to Jackson in September 2001. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Sikeston.
Survivors include a son, Doyne Lee Kirtley of Phoenix, Ariz.; a stepson, Gale Hastings of Sikeston; a stepdaughter, Christa Patray of Statesboro, Ga.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a son, a stepson, three brothers, a sister and a granddaughter.
There is no visitation or funeral. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
