SIKESTON -- Oliver Lee "O.L." Kiser, 84, of Sikeston died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.

He was born Aug. 5, 1915, at Wayne County, son of Sam and Elsie Eaton Kiser. He and Helen Skelton were married Aug. 19, 1944, in Pasco, Wash.

Kiser served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had been a route and office manager for E.C. Robinson Lumber Co. in Sikeston. He was a lifetime member and deacon at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; one son, Orman Kiser of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Oscar Kiser of Piedmont; two sisters, Ollie Gold of Piedmont and Oval Parker of Des Arc.

He was preceded in death by one daughter and one sister.

Friends may call at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at the chapel. The Rev. Mike Quillman will officiate, assisted by the Rev. W.H. Newman, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
