ZALMA -- Odetta Corbin, 80, of Zalma died Monday, March 22, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 31, 1918, at Zalma, daughter of Charley and Agnes Speer Rose. She and Carl Corbin were married May 17, 1937, in Pontiac, Mich.
Corbin was a store manager at Career Girl and Hinkles Women's Wear in Midland, Texas, before retiring. She was a member of Zalma Order of Eastern Star Chapter 509.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ronald Corbin of Big Spring, Texas, Gary Corbin of St. Louis; a daughter, Kelle Corbin of Zalma; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. Thursday. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7:30.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Wiley McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
