ODESSA R. CARR

CAIRO, Ill. -- Odessa Ruth Carr, 88, of Belvidere, formerly of Cairo, died Thursday, April 2, 1992, at Vencor Hospital in Chicago.

She married Benjamin Carr, who died in 1984. Carr was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church here.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Murray of Belvidere, Mary Henry of Garland, Texas; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds, with the Rev. Larry L. Potts officiating.

Barkett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
