OCY I. NYE

Ocy Irene Nye, 85, of Summersville, died Monday, April 25, 1994, at her home.

She was born June 20, 1908, at Horton, daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Mable Bloodworth Miller. She and the Rev. Vernon Wesley Nye were married March 20, 1933, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Rev. Dale Nye of Anderson, Ind.; two daughters, Darlene Jeffries of Cairo, Ill., Lois Roberts of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, T. Franklin Miller and Rev. Howard Miller of Anderson; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Rev. Ernest Nicholas will officiate, with burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
