Beckman, 96, died Tuesday, March 3, 1992, at Bloomfield Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 15, 1896, at Bloomfield, daughter of Oscar and Arnette Poe Bradley. She married Herman Beckman July 4, 1949. He died Dec. 3, 1959.

Beckman was a retired salesclerk at Famous-Barr in St. Louis. She attended West Pleasant Valley Church.

Survivors include a nephew, Roy Poe of Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
