BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral for Nurcine Graves of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home. The Rev. Kevin Eskew will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Graves, 87, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 24, 1911, at Leora, daughter of Oscar and Sophia Tanner Lewis. She and Ralph Graves were married Jan. 31, 1929. He died May 23, 1995.
She spent most of her life in the Bloomfield area, and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn McClain and Carolyn Lankford of Bloomfield; a brother, Thell Lewis of Dexter; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter.
