Norman E. Youngblood, 83, of Festus, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at the home of a son in Festus.

He was born Jan. 3, 1930, in Brickeys, Mo., to William T. and Mamie H. Holst Youngblood. He and Dorine Lampman were married March 31, 1951, in Hillsboro, Mo.

Norman served his country in the U.S. Army.

He worked for PPG Industries 38 years.

Survivors include his wife, Dorine Youngblood of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Donald Youngblood of Festus and Glen Youngblood of De Soto, Mo.; a daughter, Marian Davis of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Myrtle MaHue of Festus; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Randy Youngblood; a brother; and a sister.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, with full military rites by the Missouri Honor

Guard.
