SIKESTON -- Norman Sissom, 55, of Sikeston, died Thursday, June 27, 1996, at his home. He was born April 14, 1941, in St. Louis, son of Henry Caspar and Thelma Sissom. Sissom was a self-employed mechanic, and member of Eagles at New Madrid. Survivors include three sons, Jeff and Bobby Sissom of Woodland, Calif., James Sissom of Colorado; his mother, Thelma Johnson of Sikeston; a brother, Allen Sissom of Woodland; five sisters, Gennie Steadman, Darlene Kellough and Dina Rodriguez of Woodland, Helen Beeson of Sikeston, Lillie Curtis of Cedartown, Ga., and four grandchildren.. ...

Survivors include three sons, Jeff and Bobby Sissom of Woodland, Calif., James Sissom of Colorado; his mother, Thelma Johnson of Sikeston; a brother, Allen Sissom of Woodland; five sisters, Gennie Steadman, Darlene Kellough and Dina Rodriguez of Woodland, Helen Beeson of Sikeston, Lillie Curtis of Cedartown, Ga., and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Monday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Blodgett Cemetery at Blodgett.
