ORAN, Mo. -- Norman L. Morrill, 80, of Oran passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the family home.

He was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Illmo, Missouri, to the late Walter and Mildred Davis Morrill. He married Catherine D. Held on March 3, 1956. She survives.

Norman was a charter member of the Local #1104 International Labor Union in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine, of the home; one son, Keith Morrill of Advance, Missouri; two daughters, Pam (Kelly) Kyle of Oran and Nicole (James) Stephens of Marble Hill, Missouri; one brother, Larry (Linda) Morrill of Scott City; two sisters, Joann Slinkard of Scott City and Thelma (Harold) McCormick of Marble Hill; six grandchildren, Kraig (Jin) Kyle of Stamford, Connecticut, Kara (Nathan) Dirnberger of Benton, Missouri, Klayton (Kelsey) Kyle of Oran, Karson Morrill of Advance, Kollin Morrill of Advance and Kirsten Stephens of Marble Hill; and five great-grandchildren, Kailee, Liam and Cooper Kyle and Tucker and Saylor Dirnberger.

He also was preceded in death by two brothers and one grandson, Konner Stephens.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Visitation will resume at 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with Pastor Marty Hasz officiating.

Burial will follow at the Eisleben Lutheran Church Cemetery in Scott City.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.
