Retired Chief Master Sgt. Norman H. Kimball, 73, of San Antonio, Texas, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, at his home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1929, in St. Louis County, Mo., son of William "Bill" and Etta May Barks Kimball.
Kimball graduated from high school in Cape Girardeau. He served two years in the U.S. Marine Corps, attended Southeast Missouri State University, and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served almost 34 years. He served in Korea, Vietnam, Crete, Turkey and Germany.
He then worked at Knight Aerospace in San Antonio from February 1992 to July 1998.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Northwest Chapel in San Antonio.
