CHAFFEE -- Norman Elick Puckett, 60, of Chaffee died Monday, Dec. 25, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Oct. 25, 1935, in Arkansas, son of Edgar William and Flora Gertrude Grambling Puckett. Puckett worked as a supervisor for the Lighthouse of the Blind in St. Louis before retiring. He was a member of the People's Full Gospel Church in Chaffee and also served as Sunday School superintendent. He was also a member of the Country C-Ber's Club in Chaffee...

He was born Oct. 25, 1935, in Arkansas, son of Edgar William and Flora Gertrude Grambling Puckett.

Puckett worked as a supervisor for the Lighthouse of the Blind in St. Louis before retiring. He was a member of the People's Full Gospel Church in Chaffee and also served as Sunday School superintendent. He was also a member of the Country C-Ber's Club in Chaffee.

Survivors include a son, Norman Elick Puckett Jr. of Denton, Texas; four brothers, the Rev. Paul Puckett of Poplar Bluff, the Rev. Harvey Puckett of St. Ann, Russell Puckett of Stella and the Rev. Major Puckett of Stark City; and two sisters, Hattie Jackson of Granite City, Ill., and Suedell Brown of Chaffee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and three brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Spencer Bass will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
