Norman E. Craig, 66, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at his home.
He was born May 2, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, son of Tom and Beulah Bowerman Craig. He and Emma J. Hanebrink were married Sept. 29, 1962, at Trinity Lutheran Church of Egypt Mills.
Craig graduated from Central High School in 1960. He was an active outdoorsman, and was owner/operator of Quality Pest Control in Cape Girardeau County before retiring in 2008. Craig was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Egypt Mills, past president of Missouri Pest Control Association and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife, Emma J. Craig of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Kurt (Julie) Craig and Shaun (Erin) Craig, both of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Sonya McKinney of Austin, Texas; a sister, Jean (Bill) Tucker of Pevely, Mo.; two brothers, Ralph (Wanda) Craig of Cape Girardeau, and Rodney Craig of Oakwood, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Slade, Cole, Dylan and Tyler Craig, Alexa and Taylor McKinney; and a great-grandchild, Case Craig.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Martin officiating.
Private burial will at a later date at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Egypt Mills.
