Norma Thompson

OAK RIDGE -- Norma Jane Thompson, 83, of Oak Ridge died Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at her home.

She was born Oct. 1, 1938, in Sedgewickville, Missouri, to Virgil Ray Bollinger and Letha Camille Seabaugh Bollinger. She and Robert E Thompson were married Dec. 30, 1955, at The First Baptist Church in Perryville, Missouri.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Bob of Oak Ridge; daughter, Robin (David) Kern of Chaffee, Missouri; son, T (Kay) Thompson of Altenburg, Missouri; two grandsons, Payton Kern of New Hamburg, Missouri, Kendall (Taylor) Kern of New Hamburg; one granddaughter, Mayzie Thompson of Fruitland; two bonus granddaughters, Kasey Pitts and Jessalyn (Justin) Williamson of Altenburg; five great-grandchildren, Rhyatt, Rogue, Declan, Saydee and Raelyn; two sisters, Joyce Hudson of Perryville and Nadine Lurke of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Judy Randolph, Jo Sanders and Mary DeClerk; two brothers, Nelson Bollinger and Doug Bollinger.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Ford and Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Missouri.

Funeral service will be at noon Monday at the funeral with the Rev. Donnie Ford officiating. Burial will be at Thompson Cemetery near Gordonville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice.

Arrangements were under the care of Ford and Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
