Norma Olga Muench, 87, of Farrar died Friday, July 23, 1999, at the Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Feb. 2, 1912, at Menfro, daughter of Rudolph and Martha Lohman Schuessler. She was married to John B. Muench on April 17, 1932. He died Jan. 22, 1993.
Muench was a homemaker and member of the Salem Lutheran Church and Salem Ladies Aid.
She is survived by seven sons, the Rev. Herbert Muench of Evansville, Ind., LeRoy Muench of Cissna Park, Ill., George Muench of Buckley, Ill., Charles Muench of Onarga, Ill., the Rev. Paul Muench of St. Louis, Palmer Muench of Bradenton, Fla., and John M. Muench of Farrar; a daughter, Barbara Blackwell of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Elda Fritsche of Perryville; 28 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a great-stepgrandchild; three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and half brother.
Friends may call from 6:30 to 8 a.m. today at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar. The Rev. Robert Schneider will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
