SIKESTON, Mo. -- Norma Jean Marshall, 81, of Sikeston died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center. She was born May 8, 1919, in Orange, Texas, daughter of John Hurley and Rosa Lee Cuthbertson Mannon. She and Johnny W. Marshall Sr. were married June 23, 1940, in Benton, Mo. He died Dec. 1, 2000...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Norma Jean Marshall, 81, of Sikeston died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born May 8, 1919, in Orange, Texas, daughter of John Hurley and Rosa Lee Cuthbertson Mannon. She and Johnny W. Marshall Sr. were married June 23, 1940, in Benton, Mo. He died Dec. 1, 2000.

Marshall was a member of the First Assembly of God church for more than 50 years. She taught Sunday school for more than 40 years.

Survivors include three sons, Stephen C. Marshall of Rogersville, Mo., Johnny Marshall Jr. of Paducah, Ky., and Daniel Wayne Marshall of Sikeston; a brother, George Mannon of Sikeston; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Allen Basham will officiate.
