ADVANCE -- Norma Lee Kardell, 65, of Advance died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, at her home. She was born May 23, 1933, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Arthur and Ruby Bane. ADVANCE -- Norma Lee Kardell, 65, of Advance died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, at her home.

She was born May 23, 1933, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Arthur and Ruby Bane. She and Ivan Kardell were married Jan. 14, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Ivan Kardell Jr. of Fosteria, Mich., Danny and Larry Kardell of Advance; two daughters, Nancy Wilson and Sharon Kardell of Advance; her mother, Ruby Henry of Katy, Texas; two brothers, Bobby Bane of Fort Smith, Ark., Ralph Henry of Lake Pontchartrain, La.; two sisters, Roberta Chilson and Ruth Henry of Katy, Texas, 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with John Tolbert officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
