NORMA J. BLANDFORD

PERRYVILLE -- Norma J. Blandford, 70, of Perryville died Saturday May 13, 2000, at her home.

She was born Aug. 22, 1929, at McBride, daughter of Patrick and Lillian Anderson Esselman. She and Chalmer D. Blandford were married May 26, 1953.

She was a retired stitcher for International Shoe and Prince Gardner and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Larry and Roger Blandford of Perryville; a daughter, Penny Williams of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Chalmer Esselman of Owensville, George Esselman of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Donald Esselman of Chester, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Chapel. Parish wake will be at 7 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
