NORMA HISLE

JACKSON -- Graveside service for Norma Jean Hisle of Jackson was held Aug. 24 at Miami Cemetery in Miami, Mo. The Rev. Mark Conyers officiated.

Weiker Funeral Home in Slater was in charge of arrangements.

Hisle, 73, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, at Jackson Manor Nursing Center.

She was born Oct. 4, 1925, at Slater, daughter of James and Elfleada Yowell Hisle.

Hisle was a member of First Baptist Church in Slater. She had lived in Columbia more than 20 years, and in Jackson the past six years.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Ellis of Jackson; a son, Danny Sovern of Jonesboro, Ga.; a brother, William Hisle of Columbia; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.
