DEXTER -- Graveside service for Norma H. Vaughn will be held at 2 p.m. today at Dexter Cemetery. The Rev. Steven Moody will officiate, with Rainey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Vaughn, 86, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 1994, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 19, 1907, at Dexter, daughter of James R. and Julia Wood Howell. She and A.J. "Jack" Vaughn were married in September 1940. He died Sept. 8, 1976.
A graduate of Dexter High School, she was a member of Dexter Presbyterian Church, and past worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star.
Vaughn lived in Pine Bluff, Ark., many years, returning to Dexter in 1978.
Survivors include a brother, James Howell of Marietta, Pa.; three sisters, Berniece Metz of Dexter, Essie Shaul and Mary Young of Cape Girardeau.
