PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Norma J. Giesler, 69, of Perryville died Monday, July 14, 2014, at her home.

She was born April 22, 1945, in St. Louis, daughter of Woodrow and Ida Mae Burns Buck. She and Donald L. Giesler were married Feb. 18, 1984.

Norma was a building inspector and real estate agent.

Survivors include her husband; her mother, Ida Mae Taylor of Perryville; a son, David (Karen) Rose of Perryville; three daughters, Charlotte (Michael) Berry of St. Mary, Missouri, Kathy (Duane) Blessing of St. Charles, Missouri, and Lucy Rose of Perryville; three stepsons, Joe (Luanne) Giesler of Sioux City, South Dakota, Roy (Candyce) Giesler and Don (Kathy) Giesler of Perryville; a stepdaughter, Julie (Keven) Hogard of Brewer, Missouri; two brothers, Bob (Barb) Buck of Lithium, Missouri, and Gary Buck of Perryville; a sister, Rhonda (Joe) Stuever of Dexter, Missouri; a stepsister, Marilyn Taylor of Louisiana; 40 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; a son, Tom Rose; and two sisters, Shirley Apollo and Wilma Stroup.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Huttegger officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
