Norma Lee Gentry, 71, of Scott City died Thursday, June 14, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 29, 1936, at Fornfelt, daughter of Lester Lowell and Lola Mae Simmons Russom. She and Lynn R. Gentry were married Nov. 13, 1955, in Scott City.
Gentry worked 20 years in sterile processing at Saint Francis, retiring in 1998. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Scott City.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Jeff (Margaret) Gentry of Gordonville, Keith (fiancee Lisa Cook) Gentry of Jackson, Kevin (Pamela) Gentry of Loganville, Ga.; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Miranda; Michael, Christopher, Robert, Ryan and Rachel Gentry; a great-grandchild, Brieyanna Miranda; two brothers, Junior Russom of Scott City, Jimmy Russom of Delta; four sisters, Wanda Rhymer, Dolores Scott, Brenda Morris and Linda Stevens, all of Scott City.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Douglas Scott officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
