Norma Margaret Dunlap, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born May 25, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Perry and Minnie Jones Chezem. She and Jesse Dunlap were married Aug. 13, 1973, in Jackson, Mo.
Dunlap attended schools at Randles and Delta, Mo. She was a defense instructor with WPA, worked at Curtis Wright Defense Plant during World War II and worked at Davis Electric 10 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church at Delta and attended services at the Salvation Army. She did volunteer work at the Salvation Army and commodity center.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Joseph Scott of Scott City, Mo.; a stepson, Wesley Dunlap of Fruitland, Mo.; a sister, Dessie Gaines of Delta; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and two brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. William L. Burke officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
