JACKSON, Mo. -- Funeral for Norma S. Doering of Arlington Heights, Ill., was held Friday at St. John Chapel of the Lutheran Home. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Freeport, Ill.
G.L. Hills Funeral Home in Des Plaines, Ill., was in charge of arrangements.
Doering, 95, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, in Arlington Heights.
The former Norma Boehme was born April 19, 1905, in Jackson. She married Arnold Doering, who preceded her in death.
Doering had been a surgical nurse at Freeport Memorial Hospital, and was a teacher at Immanuel Lutheran School in Freeport. She had been a volunteer at the Lutheran Home and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Doering of Rolling Meadows, Ill., Arlin Doering of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; a sister, Lillian Harmon; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
