Norma Lorene Deal, 74, of Scott City died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 21, 1942, in Swinton, Missouri, to the late Charles Franklin and Ida Lee Walker Rampley, she was retired following 22 years of service as a bus driver and teacher’s aide for the State School system.
On Sept. 21, 1958, in Morehouse, Missouri, she married Charles Allen Deal, who survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Patti Deal of St. Ann, Missouri, and Russell and Bethany Deal of Potosi, Missouri; one daughter, Deborah Deal Strobel of Sikeston, Missouri; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Claudia Rampley of Bloomfield, Missouri; and one sister, Evelyn Hardin of Bloomfield. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Carroll Deal officiating. Interment will be at Old Essex Cemetery.
