FROHNA -- Norbert Ralph Haertling, 69, of Frohna, died Monday, Nov. 6, 1995, at his home.
He was born March 14, 1926, at Frohna, son of Rudolf and Dora Bronenkant Haertling. He and Ellein R. Richter were married Aug. 22, 1948.
Haertling was a retired farmer. He was a member of and held various offices at Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, member of American Legion Post 133, VFW Post 4282, and Disabeld American Veterans Post 45. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Patricia Heuring of Perryville; two brothers, E.R. Haertling of Monrovia, Calif., Lloyd Haertling of St. Louis; a sister, Euline Walker of St. Louis, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-8 a.m. An American Legion service will be held at 7:30 tonight.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
