SIKESTON, Mo. -- Nora Mae McMullin, 84, of Sikeston died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at her home.
She was born May 4, 1919, in Elkhart, Ill., the daughter of James A. and Angeline Morris Cowgur. She married Wilson S. McMullin on May 18, 1938, in Cape Girardeau.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston and served as a Sunday school teacher in the nursery. She served as a Pink Lady volunteer at Missouri Delta Medical Center and was involved with the Sikeston Little Theatre.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Tom McMullin of Sikeston; two daughters, Patti McPheeters and Peggy Bird, both of Sikeston; two half brothers, Ron Cowgur of Springfield, Ill., and John Cowgur of Harrisburg, Ill.; six grandchildren; one stepgrandson; and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. William Koch officiating.
Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
