LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Nora Agnes Bueter, 93, of Leopold passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at her home surrounded by family.
She was born Feb. 11, 1923, in Glennon, Missouri, daughter of William J. and Agnes F. Brands DeBrock. She and Joseph Bueter were united in marriage Sept. 2, 1942, and he passed away Jan. 1, 1987.
Nora was a homemaker, a member of St. Anthony's Ladies Sodality and St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon.
Survivors include sons, Norbert (Lorraine) Bueter of House Springs, Missouri, Michael (Gina) Bueter and Richard (Pam) Bueter, both of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Anthony "Butch" Bueter of Leopold; son-in-law, Leo Nenninger of Oran, Missouri; daughters, Carolyn (Al) Friedhoff of St. Louis and Audrey (Lonnie) Nenninger and Darlene (Tony) Stoverink, both of Leopold; daughter-in-law, Ernestine Bueter of Advance, Missouri; sister, Luella Elfrink of Leopold; 24 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenny Bueter; daughter, Norma Nenninger; daughter-in-law, Deborah Bueter; brothers, Leon, Elmer, Frank and Fred DeBrock; and sister, Della McBride.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon, with the Rev. David Coon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery in Glennon.
