EAST PRAIRIE -- Nona J. Hodges, 79, of East Prairie died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at East Prairie Nursing Center. She was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Obion County, Tenn., daughter of Delbert and Mary Slaughter. Survivors include four sons, Calvin, James and John Hodges of East Prairie, Vernon Hodges of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Ocie Bradley of Steele, Linda Hodges of East Prairie; two sisters, Wilma Evans of Los Angeles, Calif., Dora Guess of Hickman, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.. ...

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Larry Gammons officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park.
