NONA C. WEHMEYER

CHAFFEE -- Graveside service for Nona C. Wehmeyer of Chaffee will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at East Lawn Cemetery in Salem, Ill. A Methodist minister from Salem will officiate.

There is no visitation. Amick-Burnett Funeral Home at Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.

Wehmeyer, 95, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1994, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 19, 1899, in Hallsville, daughter of Lacy Toalson and Annie Laura Sims Hulen. She married Walter Harry Wehmeyer Sept. 2, 1916, in Jefferson City. He died Oct. 1, 1947.

Wehmeyer was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Claude Wehmeyer of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a daughter, Nelda Crippen of Arcadia, Calif.; a brother, Howard Hulen of Moberly; a sister, Margaret Bullard of Moberly; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two granddaughters, seven brothers and sisters.
