SIKESTON, Mo. -- Nola Williams, 92, of Sikeston, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.
She was born Sept. 8, 1908, in Gallatin County in Illinois, daughter of Jesse L. and Evaline Downen Wade. She and E. Ralph Williams were married Feb. 18, 1929. He died April 8, 1998.
Williams lived in Charleston most of her life. She had been a seamstress at Buckner-Ragsdale, and was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Brock of Sikeston; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and five sisters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ed Hankinson officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
