ORAN -- Nola Elizabeth Smith, 84, of Russellville, Ark., died Wednesday, April 13, 1994, at Stella Manor Nursing Center in Russellville.
She was born Jan. 26, 1910, in Dover, Ark., daughter of James Robert and Mary Belle Ross Jones. She and Ted Walter Smith were married March 8, 1928. He died May 6, 1973.
Formerly of Oran, Smith had been a machine operator at International Hat Co., retiring in July 1975. She was a member of First Baptist Church at Oran, and Order of Eastern Star at Morley.
Survivors include a son, Charles Smith of Russellville; two brothers, Earl Jones of Canalou, Max Jones of Whittier, Calif.; three sisters, Tess Bibler of Russellville, Clara Branch of Dover, Gertie Morgan of New Mexico; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jack Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
