MARBLE HILL -- Nola Back, 88, of Marble Hill died Friday, June 6, 1997, at St. Frances Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Feb. 23, 1909, near Zalma the daughter of Franklin and Effy Hughey Myers. On April 21, 1934, she married Walter D. Back, and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1985...

MARBLE HILL -- Nola Back, 88, of Marble Hill died Friday, June 6, 1997, at St. Frances Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 23, 1909, near Zalma the daughter of Franklin and Effy Hughey Myers. On April 21, 1934, she married Walter D. Back, and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1985.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Marble Hill.

Survivors include a daughter, Saundra Runnels of Marble Hill, and a sister, Thelma Myers of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Interment will be in the Bollinger County Cemetery near Marble Hill.
