CAIRO, Ill. -- Nina Elizabeth Klapp, 81, died Monday, June 12, 2006, at Bell Trace Health and Living Center in Bloomington, Ind.
She was born Aug. 15, 1924, in Miller City, Ill., daughter of Mack and Fleecy Stevens of Dog Tooth Bend, Ill. She married Arnell Klapp, who preceded her in death.
Klapp lived in Cairo most of her life, moving to Bloomington in 2001.
Survivors include two brothers, Dan Stevens of Pauls Valley, Okla., Robert Stevens of Port Orange, Fla.; a daughter, Beth Bryant of Bloomington; a son, Boyce Hillyard of South Daytona, Fla.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and a grandson.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Gholson officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds, Ill.
