Nina M. Johnson, 82, of Jackson died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Monticello House in Jackson.
She was born March 11, 1926, in Water Valley, Miss., daughter of Edgar and Cora McCullar.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Water Valley.
Survivors include a son, Joseph E. Barton of Jackson; a brother, William H. McCullar of Okalona, Miss.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister.
Arrangements are incomplete at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
