EAST PRAIRIE -- Nina Mae Hunter, 88, of East Prairie died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born April 28, 1909, in Clay County, Ill., daughter of Joel I. and Rosetta Fender Denton. She married Samuel Prather, who died Oct. 17, 1958. She later married Arlie Hunter, who died July 17, 1968.
Hunter lived in East Prairie most of her life, and owned a grocery store several years.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Burl Britt officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery near Charleston.
