BLOOMFIELD -- Nina Hanes, 84, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, April 27, 1995, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 29, 1910, in Illinois, daughter of Virgil E. and Minnie Westfall Haywood. She married Ben Hanes, who died July 27, 1978.
Hanes was a member of Bloomfield Chapter 385 Order of Eastern Star, Bloomfield Rebekah Lodge, Daughters of the American Revolution in Sikeston, American Legion Auxiliary in Dexter, and Bloomfield Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Virgil Hanes of Bloomfield, Robert Hanes of Garden City, Mich.; a daughter, Philomena Cox of Collierville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Gaines officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
