VANDUSER, Mo. -- Nina Velma Gunter, 96, of Vanduser died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at the family home.
She was born Dec. 8, 1908, in Diehlstadt, daughter of the late William Edwin and Daisey Dean Hendricks Graviett. She and Carl F. Gunter were married Aug. 28, 1938. He preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1997.
Gunter was a homemaker and had lived in Vanduser since 1972, coming from St. Charles. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vanduser.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews, including Harold Graviett of Vanduser; numerous great-nieces and nephews, including Clay Graviett of Vanduser and Kim Foster of Miner, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday at Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Mo., where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Glenn Rodgers will officiate. Burial will follow in Friend Cemetery in Oran.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Pobst, Tim McIntyre, Gary Keasler, Gary Owens, Terry Eskew and Terry Burton. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Wayne, Dean and Barry Couts, Henry Sipps and Nicholas Leon.
