DEXTER, Mo. -- Nila Jeanie Hampton Botsch, 50, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
She was born Nov. 22, 1951, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of Louis and Lavern Crabtree Hampton.
She was a first-grade teacher at the Oak Grove Elementary School in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include a son, Nathan Botsch of Jackson, Mo.; a daughter, Natalie Botsch of Bloomington, Ind.; three brothers, Keith Hampton of Dexter, Mo., Larry Hampton of Bernie, Mo., and Allen Hampton of Parma, Mo.; and two sisters, Doris Harmon of Pontiac, Mich., and Mary Lou Ellis of Wappapello, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Charles Harper officiating.
Burial will be at Bernie Cemetery.
