Nicole O'Neal Woods, 40, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, May 11, 2020, at Landmark Hospital.
She was born May 24, 1979, in St. Petersburg, Florida, the daughter of Jim and Linda Carver O'Neal.
Nicole graduated from Scott County Central High School, where she played varsity basketball. She served her country proudly in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. George Washington. She served as a police officer for the City of Morley, Missouri, and worked as a practical nurse.
She is survived by her children, Zachery O'Neal, Alexandria Miller, Abigale Robey, Adian Woods, Keagan Woods, Annibel Woods and Averi Woods, all of Cape Girardeau; stepdaughter, Ashley Woods; and stepson, Austin Woods of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by her father, Jim O'Neal of Morley; sisters, Summer Bridges, Ashley Forrester and Tammy Tanner, all of Morley; and dear friends, John and Christina Roby of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda O'Neal, in 2012; brother, Jeremy; and sister, Brandy.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in New Morley Cemetery.
Liley Funeral Homes in Marble Hill, Missouri, was in charge of arrangements.
