ANNA, Ill. -- Nevada J. Hileman, 85 of Anna, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 16, 1932, in Anna, the daughter of Roy Lee and Wilda Alma Toler Pratt. She and Warner H. Hileman Sr. married June 3, 1950, in Anna. He preceded her in death Dec. 11, 2002.
Nevada was a member of the Anna First Baptist Church. She loved reading her bible, crocheting and caring for children. Her family referred to her as their prayer warrior.
Nevada is survived by her children, Jane Grear of Millersville, Warner H. (Jane) Hileman Jr. of Anna, Donna (Dale) Treece of Jonesboro, Illinois, and Letitia (Doug) Simmons of Anna; 10 grandchildren, Eric Franklin (Staci Spahr) of Bertrand, Missouri, Tina (Bernie) Jerolds of Jonesboro, Christine (Justin) Clutts of Cobden, Illinois, Jason (Darla) Lingle of Dongola, Illinois, Angie (Billy) Alsip of Jonesboro, Cecilia (Chris) Keller of Anna, Clifton (Shannon) Bryan of Alto Pass, Illinois, Rebecca Bryan of Buncombe, Illinois, Emily Grear (Joe Raper) of Las Vegas and Sarah Grear (Tom Chung) of Alhambra, California; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy Amos (Ruth) Pratt of Lick Creek, Illinois; and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Warner H. Hileman Sr.; two sisters, Dorothy Homes and Barbara Barker; and son-in-law, Sam Grear.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Kim Capel officiating. Interment will be in Casper Cemetery in Anna.
