ANNA, Ill. -- Neva Estrid Walker, 94, of Anna died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at the City Care Center at Anna. She was born Oct. 27, 1905, at Lick Creek, Ill., daughter of Elbert O. and Minnie Thornton Gallegly. She and Audie D. Walker were married March 28, 1936. He died May 6, 1985...

ANNA, Ill. -- Neva Estrid Walker, 94, of Anna died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at the City Care Center at Anna.

She was born Oct. 27, 1905, at Lick Creek, Ill., daughter of Elbert O. and Minnie Thornton Gallegly. She and Audie D. Walker were married March 28, 1936. He died May 6, 1985.

Survivors include a niece, Bonita L. Stephens of Cairo, Ill.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call after noon Tuesday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home at Anna.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Darnell officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Hall Cemetery near Lick Creek.
